China supports an unbiased international probe into the origins of COVID-19 and warns against any political hoax around this matter, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Monday.
"China has always supported and taken part in the international evidence-based investigation of the virus’ origin," she said. "At the same time, it stands against any forms of political manipulation around this matter."
According to the Chinese diplomat, China has provided more information and scientific data to the investigation than any other country while the US has not provided any significant information on the issue.
