On Thursday, in an official press conference, China's Defense Ministry announced that China and Saudi Arabia are set to conduct joint naval training exercises in October.

These maneuvers will take place in the city of Changjiang in Guangdong province and mark the second such collaborative training between the two nations.

"This joint training focuses on overseas maritime counter-terrorism operations, conducting exercises on sniper tactics, boat driving, helicopter landing, and joint rescue," defense ministry spokesperson Wu Qian told a press briefing.

This marks the second time that Chinese and Saudi Arabian naval forces have engaged in such collaborative training.

The exercises aim to deepen practical and friendly cooperation between the two armed forces while enhancing the combat training capabilities of both military units.
