On Wednesday, China launched a new remote-sensing satellite device into space.
It was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.
The device was launched on the March-4C carrier rocket. Yaogan-33 04 was released at 4:15 am Beijing Time and entered its orbit.
The satellite will be used for conducting scientific experiments that are concerned with land resources, agriculture, and disaster prevention.
The launch was the 489th mission of the Long March carrier rocket.
