On Thursday, the Chinese Agency for International Development Cooperation announced that Beijing would provide humanitarian assistance to the residents of Gaza worth 15 million yuan ($2.05 million).

The aid package includes provisions for food and medicines.

The Israeli occupation's aggression against Gaza and the West Bank continues for the twentieth consecutive day, involving relentless air raids, attacks, and violent confrontations.

This sustained onslaught has resulted in thousands of casualties, primarily among civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.

Moreover, hundreds remain trapped beneath the rubble of homes that have been targeted in the attacks.

China's decision to extend this aid to Gaza reflects ongoing global concerns about the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the region due to the protracted conflict.

The assistance will undoubtedly provide much-needed relief to the affected population and contribute to alleviating their suffering.
