Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov stated that foreign mercenaries in Ukraine are suffering heavy losses amid the Russian invasion.

“Mercenaries rarely post videos of their failures. In fact, the losses of foreigners are large, and the survivors are increasingly thinking about quitting this pointless business and getting away from Ukraine,” Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.

In addition, the Chechen president noted that if foreign mercenaries at the beginning of March boasted of filming “recklessness on armoured personnel carriers," they are now desperately stating their helplessness.

Nearly 7,000 foreign mercenaries arrived in Ukraine, mainly from Canada, Poland and the United States and now, there are only 3, 200 of them, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

In the same vein, the South Korean foreign ministry revealed that it was ascertaining the veracity of the Russian defence ministry’s data that showed four Korean nationals who volunteered to fight alongside Ukrainian forces have been killed.

“We are aware of Russia’s defence ministry data,” an official with the foreign ministry said. “We have ordered the South Korean embassy in Russia to identify the facts.”

The Russian defence ministry revealed data on foreign military volunteers in its war against Ukraine.

The data claimed 13 South Koreans entered Ukraine to help Ukrainians fight against the Russian invasion and that, among them, four died during the fighting, with eight having left Ukraine and one still in the country.

Also, Russian state media released footage of three Americans who went missing in Ukraine after they travelled to the country to fight alongside Ukrainian forces against Moscow.
