The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, inaugurated in Cairo today, the 25th edition of the Arab Cross Country Championship organized by the Arab Athletics Federation in cooperation with the Egyptian Athletics Federation at Cairo International Stadium.
The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Saudi and Arab Athletics Federation, Dr. Habib Al-Rabaan, the Secretary-General of the Federation, Abdulelah Al-Selwi, and the President of the Egyptian Athletics Federation, Dr. Seif Shaheen.
The Arab Championship will be held with the participation of 217 male and female players representing 13 countries, including the Kingdom, where the championship will witness a number of races, including the 4km junior race, 6km juniors, 6km young women, 8km youth, 10km women, and 10km men
