Ceramica Cleopatra Players' Car Falls off Major Axis In Giza

Four players from Cleopatra Ceramica Club were seriously injured in a traffic accident after their car overturned on a main bridge in Giza during the early hours of Saturday morning.

The accident occurred while the car was driving on the El Abyad Street, where their car collided with a passenger bus and the steering wheel became loose in the driver's hand, causing the car to swerve and fall from the top of the axis.

The injured players are Mohamed Sameh Abdel Hamid (19 years old), Mazen Omar Khadr (19 years old), Mohamed Ramadan Mohamed (19 years old), Anas Maher Mohamed (19 years old) in the junior sector quartet.

They were taken to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment, as their injuries ranged from bruises to various fractures.

On their part, Ceramica Cleopatra Club officials were keen to follow up on the condition of the injured players and be with them in a hospital.

Ismail Youssef, head of the club's youth sector, explained that three of the players are in good condition, while the fourth player is in intensive care after undergoing surgery on the base of the skull as a result of a severe fracture.

Youssef confirmed that the club management is closely monitoring the condition of the injured players, and that it is taking all necessary measures to ensure that they receive the best medical care.
