In an effort to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Egyptian Premier League season, Ceramica Cleopatra FC succeeded in signing both Ahly's Saleh Gomaa and Zamalek's Mohamed Hassan on the same day.
The Ceramica Cleopatra FC website announced Thursday dawn that they succeeded in signing former Ahly midfielder Saleh Gomaa, who was released by Al Ahly in addition to Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Hassan.
Both young talents, even though they have great potential, failed to receive enough playing time at their respective clubs, but will be looking to find their ground in the up and coming Ceramica squad.
By signing talents from both Ahly and Zamalek, Ceramica Cleopatra isn't just looking to take part in the league next season, but rather achieving a high position in the table and possibly winning the competition.
Ceramica’s Historic Signing this Year
The club, headed by MP Mohamed Aboul Enein and managed by Moataz El Batawy, are looking forward to making their presence felt during next season as they currently signed more than 12 high-profile player including young rising Ivorian star Fonsinho, the younger brother of Gervinho and Ghanian Winful Cobinah.
The club also signed El Gouna defender, Khaled Sobhy, El-Makkasa’s trio Ahmed Mohsen, Mohamed Toni, and Mohamed Mossad, Pyramids FC’s Ragab Bakar, and Degla duo Abdelrahman Body and Abdallah Mahmoud.
Ahmed Amin, Mohamed Gamal, and Khaled Gamal were also three other names that were announced by the club, in addition to rising goal keeper Mohamed El Hadary from Nogoom.
