An official source at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) stated that foreign investors have returned strongly to the Egyptian market starting from January 2022.
The source said that foreign investors have pumped about $970 million since the beginning of the year until January 16 in financial investments, including long-term bonds and treasury bills.
It added that the Egyptian economy exceeds the repercussions of international monetary policy, 'which is a new and a significant boost'.
"the balance of investments in long-term bonds exceeds the balance of short-term treasury bills."
