The upcoming exceptional edition of the Carthage Film Days Festival will kick off on 18 December. Marking number 31. This edition will mark a celebration with award-winning films.
The poster for the festival was revealed. It depicted a lady who walks to the light and escapes from the darkness. Her appearance reflects hope and strength.
This edition will witness the presence of the annual Carthage Film Days such as the Film Industry, Market and Distribution, the Influence of the event, and Archives, Heritage Promotion, and Critical Reception.
Directed by Ridha Behi, the festival's official website posted a statement by him expressing, "We have a responsibility as a team toward this festival, and I have a particular responsibility and commitment as director-general of the 31st edition of the Carthage Film Festival."
He added, "I look forward to meeting you very soon to share with you the new outlines and news of the next edition that will be held in Tunisia from December 18 to 23, 2020."
In addition to preserving the achievements and its unfailing attachment to the African and Arab, we wish to give this upcoming edition a committed dimension in the safeguarding of the environment."
Moreover, the Tunisian Ministry of Culture announced the postponing of the 22nd edition of Carthage Theater Days. The announcement came in an official released statement issued by the ministry today.
The reasons for postponing the event is due to the outbreak of the second wave of COVID-19 in Tunisia, and in the light of the latest protecting measures taken by the government.
The statement added that the ministry is going to organize another event in the upcoming days entitled "Panorama of the Tunisian Theater."
A huge number of workshops and lectures will be organized on the sidelines of the event. Moreover, the event will organize various theatrical shows to support the Tunisian theater.
