Zamalek's new head coach Patrice Carteron has named his 18-man squad for the Whites' clash against Primeiro de Agosto in the CAF Champions League group stage.
Zamalek, who were drawn in Group A, alongside ZESCO United F.C (Zambia), and TP Mazembe (DR Congo), are set to host de Agosto on Saturday at Al-Salam Stadium (21:00 CLT).
The squad will witness the return of Mostafa Mohamed, while his teammate Omar El-Saeed was ruled out due to an injury.

The White Knights are in an urgent need to secure victory to compensate their lose against Etoile du Sahel in the group stage opening game. Zamalek went down to a 0-3 defeat from TP Mazembe in the opening game from the group stage.

On Monday, December 2, Zamalek’s chairman Mortada Mansour appointed Carteron as the White Knights’ new head coach, succeeding Milutin Sredojević ‘Micho.
“Zamalek board of directors, headed by Mortada Mansour decided to appoint Patrice Carteron as new head coach and Sami El-Sheshini and Ayman Abdel Aziz as assistant coaches,” Mansour said on his official Facebook page.
