Carsley Close to Be Announced as Engladn's Interim Coach, Say Reports

England's First National Football team is set to announce Lee Carsley as an interim coach for the team. He will lead the Three Lions in next month's Nations League, media reports highlighted on Wednesday. 

England have several challenging games fixtures against the Republic of Ireland and Finland next month.

The next England squad is expected to be announced on August 29.

Former Derby and Everton midfielder Carsley led England U-21 to their first European Championship victory in 39 years last summer.

Until now, the Football Association has not commented on the reports.

England's former coach Gareth Southgate resigned as the coach of the first tam after England's lost to Spain in the final of the 2024 Euro.
