Carole Samaha's “Bon Voyage” Hits 1.2 Mln on YouTube

Lebanese superstar, Carole Samaha’s new music video “Bon Voyage”, has managed to earn 1.2 million viewers, after Lifestylez Studios production company released the music video on its official YouTube channel, on July 1st.

“Bon Voyage” is by the lyrics of Kamala KheirBik, Samaha, and Layone. The music video is composed by DJ Youcef and Yann Perrier. It is directed by Batoul Arafa.

The 47-year-old superstar took to her social media accounts to promote the release of her new music video.

“It’s OUT NOW my NEW Music video #bonvoyage you can watch it exclusively on you tube channel by @lifestylezstudios Starring the amazing egyptian actor @basselalzaro” she wrote on Instagram.

“Bon Voyage” featured Egyptian TV host and actor Bassel Alzaro as a model in the music video, which was filmed in a European style.

It also featured Samaha performing in the Lebanese and French dialects.

It is worth mentioning that Samaha, born on July 25, 1972, is a Lebanese singer, actress, and performer.

She has released six studio albums. Samaha has a master’s degree in acting and directing, which she earned in 1999 from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut.

In 2004, she won the Arab Music Award for the best rising female singer. She has also won multiple Murex d’Or awards and was nominated for the best Arabia New Act in the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008.

The 47-year-old superstar was a classical actress before starting her pop music career and worked extensively with Mansour Rahbani and Marwan Rahbani.

The Lebanese superstar returned in 2007 to the theater to play Zenobia in the Rahbani musical with the same name.

She appeared in the 2008 movie “Bahr al nojoum” alongside other Lebanese stars.

Samaha starred in Lebanese legendary singer-actress Sabah biographical series “Al Shahroura”, which premiered in Ramadan 2011.

In 2013, she was a judge in the x-factor Arabia and she was the mentor for the bands such as Young Pharoz, Maraya, and Les Bledards Ninja.

Samaha married Walid Mustafa, a porced Egyptian with a daughter from a previous marriage, in a civil ceremony in Limassol, Cyprus following an 18-month love story, on November 1, 2013.

She gave birth to a baby girl, Tala, on August 31, 2015. She is a Melkite Catholic. From 2014, Samaha has been residing in Egypt with her husband.
