On Friday, Carlos Alcaraz became the youngest player to reach grand slam finals on all three surfaces.

He reached the milestone after defeating World's No.1 Jannik Sinner in a competitive epic game in the semi-final of French Open, Roland Garros.

The game was one of the most anticipated matches of the year, and both players delivered their best, stretching the game to five sets.

Alcaraz said after the game: "You have to find the joy suffering," adding: "That is the key, even more here on clay at Roland Garros. Long rallies, four-hour matches, five sets. You have to fight, you have to suffer but as I told my team, you have to enjoy suffering."

Alcaraz will face Alexander Zverev in the final of the tournament. He is seeking to capture his third grand slam title.

The 21-year old Spanish star won the 2022 US Open which is a hard court one, won 2023 Wimbledon, which is a grass court one, and 2024 Roland Garros final, which is a clay one.
