Cardi B to Return for "Fast 10"

Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto, a.k.a. "Dom", confirmed that hip-hop star Cardi B will return in "Fast 10", the first of two movies set to wrap up the franchise.

"We are very much excited to evolve her character and to expand it to the finale. She made it just in time. She came in Fast 9 just in time." Diesel told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere for F9, which opens Friday.

In F9, Toretto faces unprecedented danger after his long-lost brother Jakob (John Cena) teams up with Cipher (Charlize Theron) to bring down the Toretto clan.

Cardi B appears in a memorable scene in the latest installment, playing Leysa, who has a connection to Dom.

The rapper revealed few details about her character, saying: "I think she's conceited, that she's very confident. There is a difference between conceited and confident, but I think she is really both, and I guess she is very competitive."

"F10" hits theaters on June 25, 2021.
