CAPMAS: Egypt's Exports to Russia Amount to $489 Million

Data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMS) revealed that the value of Egyptian exports to Russia increased to  $ 489.6 million in 2021, compared to $ 423.3 million  in 2020, an increase of 15.7%.

The value of Egyptian imports from Russia amounted to $3.3 billion in 2021, compared to $2.9 billion in 2020, an increase of 11.5%.

The "CAPMS" indicated, in a press statement, today, Friday, that the value of trade exchange between Egypt and Russia increased to reach $3.8 billion in 2021, compared to $3.4 billion in 2020, an increase of 12%.

The CAPMS identified the ten most important commodity groups exported by Egypt to Russia during the year 2021, which are: fruits, vegetables and electrical appliances.

Egypt imports grain, timber, railway vehicles and equipment from Russia.
