Canadian authorities ordered on Tuesday two Russian planes out from its airspace, hours after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced sending anti-tank weapons and upgraded ammunition to support Ukraine confronting the Russian attack, according to Reuters.
Trudeau has announced a ban on Russian oil imports following the country's invasion of Ukraine. Mr Trudeau said oil revenues have helped to prop up President Vladimir Putin and Russian oligarchs.
Canada previously sent $7.8 million worth of lethal aid to Ukraine but has been pressed over whether the government would do more amid the Russian operation in the country.
