Can Sales of Firearms Be Stopped in The  USA?

US President Joe Biden has recently called for banning the attack guns after a new massacre that revived the controversy on the spreading of firearms in the United States of America (USA).

Biden asked Congress to move urgently on that matter. The new shooting that felled ten people, one of them is a cop, in Boulder,  Colorado, came after less than a week from another incident, when a young man killed eight Asians in massage parlors in Atlanta, Georgia.

Shootings are repeated, especially, in some public buildings, schools, stores, and worship places across the USA. Worst of all, that firearms used randomly due to hatred to foreign immigrants to the USA.

US President urged his compatriots over a visit to Atlanta to fight what he depicted as the resurgence of hate against the aliens. He called for US citizens to move to prevent racial violence.

He said during a speech at Emory University, that silence is a colluding. We can't be colluders and we must speak loudly and we should move. Biden appealed to Americans to fight the resurgence of hating against the aliens.

He added, "Whatever the motives of shooting we must know that that Asiatic-origin Americans are worrying".

"Last year, they got up every morning in horror as they felt that safety of them and their relatives is at stake", Biden said.

He stressed that choosing words is important in inkling to his predecessor Donald Trump who used to describe Coronavirus as the Chinese virus. Biden said that the Coronavirus is a point. But strengthening laws of firearms is still unattainable due to the oppositions of   Republicans and for other reasons.

It is worth noting that Colorado witnessed two of the worst massacres in the history of the USA. In 1999, two kids murdered 12 classmates and a teacher at a school in Colombian, Colorado. And in 2012, a gunman killed twelve persons in the Aurora cinema.

Boulder city has imposed a ban on machine guns and bigger magazines after a shooting at a school in Parkland in  Florida (southeast) in 2018 but a judge suspended that ban. National  Rifle Association (NRA) in the USA  and lobbies of firearms welcomed the judge's decision.

I think that judge's ruling based on a clear constitutional reference as acquiring firearms is among basic rights set by US Constitution for more than two centuries.

The USA is the only country in the world that permits its citizenry to hold firearms even in the streets based on the principle of inpidual freedom. US Constitution quoted the article of the "Right to get armed" from a principle that assured that right is one of the natural rights. Laws regulating the sales of firearms differ from a state to another in the USA.

In Texas, for example, a person can hold a firearm even without a license due to laws permit that there. Statics indicate that there are 300 million firearms in the USA and most of the arms used in killings are semi-automatic and revolvers of various calibers, especially those arms distinguished with high speed and accuracy in firing.

This makes the USA tops in aggressions carried out by firearms.

In spite of accelerating these drastic incidents linked to the use of inpidual arms and calling for strengthening laws regulating sales of firearms, the lobbies of firearms have more effect on phrasing bills in Congress. These lobbies are active with congressmen so they are able to kill bills that aim to strengthen the censorship on buying and acquiring firearms. The Lobbies of firearms raise funds in millions of dollars to support presidential campaigns of either candidate of the two parties.

Worst of all that random shootings increase the demand for firearms by Americans. By-laws that regulate sales of firearms become more easing now compared with the past years. This means excluding of stopping sales of firearms in the USA.
