Cairo Univ. Publishes 1st Issue of Its Int'nal Magazine

Cairo University published the paper version of its 1st issue of the International magazine of Humanities and Applied Social Sciences "JHASS".

The paper was published in English in cooperation with the British international publishing organization "Emerald".

It is a research magazine that explains how to apply humanities and social sciences to help bring about positive changes in society.

Dr. Mohamed Osman, El-Khosht the Cairo University president, said it is the first magazine the university issues in the social and human sciences field.

He said that the university is working on this file and take all the necessary procedures in preparation and processing, stressing that this publication is a new step towards global; it would contribute to raising the university rank, and facilitating the international publishing procedures for Arab and foreign researchers.

El-Khosht announced that the university has taken the biggest "package of measures" to encourage international publishing among faculty members- to increase the rewards of international scientific publishing by 25% for faculty members and researchers published their research in international journals, platforms as well as periodicals with influence factor in 2018, and the bonus of publication was raised.

The research item was subsidized by 100% which is related to research supplies and materials.
