Cairo Sees Light Rainfall, Cold Weather on Wednesday

Experts of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predict cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coasts, North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the weather will be moderate in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at the General Authority of Meteorology, revealed that light rain is expected in Cairo, at intermittent periods.

Medium to heavy rains will hit El Salloum, Marsa Matrouh, Alexandria, Rasheed, Baltim, Damietta, Al-Arish, and Rafah, at intermittent periods.

Light and moderate rain are also predicted to prevail in Lower Egypt, while light rains will hit in North Upper Egypt.

Winds are expected to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, North Upper Egypt, and Central Sinai.

Meteorologists also predict that extremely cold weather will prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern Coasts, as well as the North and South Upper Egypt, at night.

Meanwhile, the weather will be cold in South Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 17C in Cairo, 16C in Alexandria, 17C in Marsa Matruh, 20C in Sohag, 20C in Qena, and 21C in Aswan.
