The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially unveiled a special edition match ball for the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, currently being held in Morocco.
The AFCON 2025 final will take place on Sunday between host nation Morocco and Senegal at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in the capital, Rabat.
CAF shared images of the special “Itri” match ball that will be used in the final via its official social media platforms, highlighting the significance of the occasion.
Morocco will be contesting the Africa Cup of Nations final for the second time in their history, and for the first time since 2004.
When the Atlas Lions won the title in 1976, the final stage of the tournament was played in a round-robin league format, without a traditional final match.
Meanwhile, Senegal are aiming to secure their second AFCON title, having previously lifted the trophy in the 2021 edition, when the “Lions of Teranga” claimed their maiden continental crown.
