The final draw will take place on May 5 in Rabat, while the tournament will take place between June 24, and July 8.
8 teams will participate in the tournament, including Egypt. The winners of the first three places in the tournament will reach Paris Games 202, while the team in fourth place will have a qualifying match.
The Egyptians qualified for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations 2023 after defeating Zambia 2-0 in both legs.
