The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced that the draw for the 2025 AFCON will take place on January 27 in Morocco's Rabat.
The 24 participating teams will be divided into six groups, with each group containing four teams.
The top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the Round of 16.
The draw will be held in the presence of representatives from the 24 teams that have qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals, which Morocco is hosting for the first time since 1988.
The list of teams qualified teams are: Egypt, Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Comoros, Côte d’Ivoire, DR Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
