CAF could allow 15,000 fans to attend Champions League final - reports

Moroccan reports claimed on Monday that the Confederation of the African Football (CAF) is considering the attendance of 15,000 fans to the CAF Champions League final.

The semi-final stage is set to kick off on June 19, with the defending champion Al Ahly clash against ES Tunis and Morocco's Wydad face Kaizer Chiefs.

The final match is set to take place at Mohamed V Stadium in Morocco.

According to "Al Montakhb" newspaper, the football's governing body in Africa suggested holding the final in the presence of 15,000 fans with 30% of the stadium's capacity.

The newspaper also added that the football governing body in Morocco waits for the authorities' approval to announce the decision.

The Red Devils are set to clash against the Tunisian club on June 19 in the first leg, while the second one will take place on June 26 .
