The Confederation of African Football ( CAF ) issued another statement today that may appeal it's previous decision regarding allocating the Zamalek vs Generation Sport match from Petro Sport stadium to Burj El-Arab stadium in Alexandria.

The CAF chose to appeal the decision after re-evaluating the situation after getting notified that three matches part of the standings of the Egyptian League took place in Cairo, thus putting Zamallek's claims that Cairo isn't secure for the away match in doubt.

The aforementioned matches are Enpi vs Talae El-Geish, Masr FC and Aswan and Mekawloon vs Semouha.

The CAF disclosed their statements declaring that a committee will re-evaluate the decision and  both clubs will be notified with the decision later.

The CAF Committee previously announced that the match would take place at Burj El-Arab Stadium instead of Petro Sport and postponed the match that was scheduled to take place Saturday 24 hours and is supposed to take place today.

Zamalek lost against the Senegalese team with 2 goals to one away from their home turf
