These remarks came during the CAF Executive Committee meeting, which was held earlier today in a prelude to the General Assembly meeting on Thursday in Cairo to complete all procedures for holding CAF supplementary elections.
Among other decisions taken, the Executive Committee also voted on increasing the number of participating teams in the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations from 8 to 12 from the next edition.
Previously, the final was composed of two legs, which involves both teams facing each other on the opposing team's home field.
