On Tuesday, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the draw of the preliminary stages draw for next season's Champions League (CL) and Confederation Cup (CC).
4 Egyptian teams will take part in the prestigious African competitions: Al Ahly and Pyramids will participate in the Champions League, and Al Zamalek and Future will participate in the Confederation Cup.
The four Egyptian teams will start their African campaigns from the stage of the preliminary round from 15-17 September for home legs, and from 19 September to 1 October for the away ones.
The defending Champions Ahly will face the winner of the Zanzibar’s KMKM and Ethiopian side Saint George SC game.
Pyramids FC, who will make their CAF Champions League debut next season, will face the winner of the game between Rwanda’s APR FC and Somalia’s Gaadiidka FC.
On the other hand, Al Zamalek will face the winner of the Somalian Horseed FC and Djibouti’s Arta Solar 7.
Future FC will face the winner of Tanzania’s Singida United and Jeshi la Kujenga FC.
