The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, revealed on Sunday evening that Portuguese star Christiano Ronaldo will be the captain of the Al Nassr & Al Hilal All Stars team, against Paris Saint-Germain.
In a video published on his Twitter account, Al-Sheikh appeared while wearing Ronaldo, the captain's armband for the match.
He said: “The promise, God willing, will be on January 19th. A match for history. The squad will be announced tomorrow by the head coach Khaled Al Shneif.”
The match will be played in Riyadh on January 19 at King Fahd International Stadium, and the players of Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr will turn from traditional rivals into a unified team under the leadership of an international coach and assistant.
The winning team will receive Riyadh Season 2022 Cup.
The match will be broadcast live on PSG.fr, PSG social media, and the beIN sports network.
The match will be accompanied by entertaining activities, light shows and fireworks, as part of the Riyadh Season festivities.
