Egyptian media revealed the details of the disappearance of a housewife, after detectives confirmed that

A businessman killed his pregnant wife and burned her in the desert of the 6th of October City, Giza.

The victim's family reported that the husband became angry when he knew that his wife was pregnant with a girl, and that he wanted a boy.

The businessman killed his wife and then dumped her body in a desert area, and set it on fire to hide her features until the authorities revealed the crime and arrested him. The victim's family had sent three reports to the police in the area, informing them of the sudden disappearance of their daughter, and their suspicion of her husband.

Meantime, the husband reported that his wife left the house and did not return, and he did not know her whereabouts. With the progress of the investigations, the husband confessed to his crime, as he said that a quarrel broke out between them and that he had beaten her and because she was pregnant in the third month, she could not bear it and fell to the ground and as he continued to beat her until she died.

The accused said that when he was surprised by her death, he decided to dispose of her body in order to avoid detection, so he carried the body and threw it in a remote desert area, and fearing that someone would recognize her face.

The killer poured gasoline on her and set her body on fire to completely hide her features, and returned to his home.
