Breaking: Police Officer Shot Dead Southern London

A police officer has been shot dead at Croydon police station in south London on Friday, according to the Metropolitan police.

The dead office was shot by a man who was being detained at a Custody Centre in south the capital.  No police weapons discharged.

A 23-year-old suspect arrested and shot officer during processing at station before turning gun on himself. He was sent to the hospital for treatment, according to the BBC.
