Egypt decided to reopen its airspace with Qatar and allow the resumption of flights between the two countries as of today, January 12, according to a statement by Civil Aviation Ministry.
The move came after Riyadh announced a breakthrough at Al-Ula summit last Tuesday to end the rift in which Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt cut diplomatic, trade, and travel ties with Qatar in mid-2017.
It is worth mentioning that, Saudi Arabia and the UAE have already reopened air, land, and sea entry points to Qatar.
