A bridge built by one of the municipalities of the Justice and Development Party, the Turkish ruling party, before its opening.
Turkish opposition newspaper "Sozjo", on Monday, quoted a source that a tender for the construction of the "Chalkoy" bridge in the district of "Wazirkopro" was launched last March by the municipality of the Greater Samsun city, affiliated to the Justice and Development Party.
Its construction began last May; in "Wazirkopro" district, with the aim of linking transportation between 10 villages in the area.
The source pointed out that the bridge collapsed after its construction on pillars on both sides of it,
