Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro stated that he opposes imposing a comprehensive lockdown due to the spreading of the deadly virus of Corona across the country.

He discarded appeals of health experts to take urgent measurements after registering the heaviest death toll within the last 24 hours.

Bolsonaro defended what he described as “ protocols of the early treatment” which include using Hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malaria medicine in treating or preventing the coronavirus (known also as COVID-19).

The  Ministry of Health in Brazil registered 4195 deaths on Tuesday, meanwhile, opponents of Bolsonaro ask him to apply more restrictive measurements to slow the pace of the spreading of the virus in the country.

Yesterday, the deadly virus infected more people and claimed the lives of 3829 persons in various parts of Brazil.

In most states, the intensive care units suffered from increasing numbers of people treated there.

These units come under stress as 90% of beds were occupied.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health in Brazil warns that the situation in the country becomes very dangerous as the average rate of occupancy in the hospitals exceeds 90% throughout last week.

“G1”, a Brazilian daily newspaper, pointed out that the current situation in the country becomes more serious compared with two weeks earlier when the most populous 15 states were colored in red that means a very dangerous situation.

The ministry issued a statement that reads that Brazil is going through the worst period of the pandemic.

Brazil registers the highest toll of death due to the Coronavirus in the world.

Some 330 thousand persons in Brazil died of COVID-19 in addition to 12.953 million confirmed infections.

The health authorities in Brazil announced that 6062 people were infected with dengue fever in Sao Paolo state during the period from March 5 to April 5.

Reports revealed that 11 thousand persons were caught the fever since January 1st.

Dengue fever is an overriding danger in Brazil, especially, in the urban and semi-urban areas.
