A few hours ago, Brazilian Fluminense defeated Ecuador's Liga de Quito 2-0 to win their first Recopa Sudamericana title in their history.

The Brazilians managed to overturn the Ecuadorians' 1-0 victory in the first leg.

Fluminense Colombian star John Arias scored the first goal for his team in 76 with a header, before he secured the victory for his team in 90 after scoring from the spot.

The Recopa Sudamericana is played between the winner of the Copa Libertadores and the champion of the Copa Sudamericana.

Liga de Quito won two finals against the Brazilian team in the 2008 Copa Libertadores and the 2009 Copa Sudamericana.
