Brazilian side Flamengo have secured their place in the final of the 2025 Intercontinental Cup after defeating Pyramids FC 2–0 in the semifinals.
The match was played on Saturday at the Ahmed bin Ali World Cup Stadium in Qatar.
Flamengo opened the scoring through Léo Pereira in the 24th minute, before Danilo Luiz doubled the lead in the 52nd minute.
The victory confirmed Flamengo’s qualification for the final and saw them crowned Challenge Cup champions.
Flamengo will now face Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning European champions, in a highly anticipated final.
The Intercontinental Cup 2025 final is scheduled for Wednesday, 17 December, at the same venue.
Pyramids FC had reached the semifinals after winning the Continental Cup by defeating Al-Ahli Saudi 3–1.
However, their journey ended against a dominant Flamengo side, who earned their place in the final with a strong and efficient performance.
