The office of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva announced that he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing in May, two important partners of Brazil.
The Brazilian presidential press office told the Associated Press that Lula da Silva is expected to attend Russia's Victory Day celebrations on May 9.
The Brazilian president then plans to travel to Beijing to participate in the China-CELAC Forum on May 12.
This will be Lula da Silva's first official visit to Moscow and his second to China during his third non-consecutive term as president.
