The Seleção made a dream start, taking the lead inside the opening minute through Vinícius Júnior. Panama responded in the 13th minute when an unfortunate own goal from Matheus Cunha leveled the score. However, Brazil regained the advantage before halftime thanks to a strike from Casemiro in the 38th minute.
Brazil completely dominated the second half, adding four more goals through Rayan (52'), Lucas Paquetá (59'), Igor Thiago from the penalty spot (62'), and Danilo (80'). Panama managed a late consolation goal through Carlos Harvey in the 83rd minute.
The friendly forms part of Brazil's build-up to the 2026 World Cup, where the five-time world champions have been drawn in Group C alongside Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti. Brazil will be aiming to end a 24-year wait for World Cup glory, having last lifted the trophy in 2002.
