Brazil claimed a solid 2–0 victory over Senegal in an international friendly played on Saturday evening at the Emirates Stadium, as both teams continue preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to be hosted in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Brazil secured the win early, with goals from Estêvão and Casemiro, giving the Seleção full control of the first half and setting the tone for a composed performance.
The two sides last met in June 2023 in Lisbon, where Senegal earned a surprising 4–2 victory. Prior to tonight’s match, Brazil were hoping to secure their first win over the African champions after a draw and a loss in their most recent encounters.
