Brazil produced a dominant display to defeat Scotland 3-0 in their final Group C match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, securing top spot in the standings and booking their place in the Round of 32.

The match, played at Miami Stadium, saw Brazil control the contest from the outset as they wrapped up the group stage in style.

Vinicius Junior opened the scoring in the 7th minute after capitalising on a defensive mistake from Scotland to give Brazil an early lead.

The Real Madrid forward thought he had doubled the advantage in the 22nd minute, but his second effort was ruled out for a foul in the build-up.

Vinicius did eventually grab his second goal of the night deep into first-half stoppage time, finding the net in the third minute of added time to send Brazil into the break with a comfortable 2-0 advantage.

Brazil continued to dominate after the restart and extended their lead in the 60th minute when Matheus Cunha scored the third goal to put the result beyond doubt.

The second half also saw the return of Neymar, who came on in the 75th minute as Brazil comfortably closed out the victory.

With the win, Brazil finished top of Group C with 7 points, edging Morocco on goal difference, with both sides advancing to the Round of 32.

Scotland ended third with 3 points, while Haiti finished bottom of the group with 1 point.
