Barcelona's Vice-President Rafa Yuta said, Friday, that the Catalonian club are in contact with Lionel Messi for a possible return to the club this summer.
Until now, there is no final word regarding the future of the Argentinian icon as his contract with Paris Saint Germain (PSG) is set to expire soon, with no news about renewal.
Recently, there are different speculations about the future of Messi, including Barca's attempts to get their former star back.
The vice president of the Spanish club said that they would love to have Messi back at the Camp Nou.
“Messi knows how much we appreciate them. I would love for him to come back. We have contacts with them,” Yuta said at a press conference.
“We hope to find the right conditions to continue his history here. The beautiful stories of life have to end happily.”
Mundo Deportivo reported, earlier, that Barca are making plans for next season and they include Messi.
