Bournemouth have ended Manchester United's three-game winning run by defeating them with an unanswered goal in the Premier League.
Joshua King scored an exceptional goal, which was so enough to secure the victory for his side, when Adam Smith delivered a lovely cross into the area for King, who chested the ball with his first touch, shielding it from United's defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka. He hooked the ball over his marker and then lashed it past De Gea.
Bournemouth, who secured their only third victory over United over their history, now ranks sixth with sixteen points. On the other hand, the Red Devils dropped to the eighth position with thirteen points.
It is the fourth defeat for the Red Devils after being downed before by Crystal Palace (1-2 ), West Ham (0-2), and Newcastle United (0-1).
Liverpool now attain the Premier League leadership as they are set to clash against Aston Villa later today, as the encounter will witness the first clash between two Egyptians Mohamed Salah and Mahmoud Hassam Trezeguet.
The Red Devils are set to resume their adventure in the next round against Brighton on Sunday, November 10 at Old Trafford, while Bournemouth will resume their Premier League campaign versus Newcastle on Saturday, November 9 at 17:00 CLT.
