Egypt, for the first time since 2013, occupied the lead position in the Africa ranking, according to Bloom Consulting's report on Country Brand Ranking - Tourism Edition.
Egypt is a role model for other countries in all continents due to its ability to show resilience and reinventing itself, despite a period of political unrest and being a target of terrorist attacks.
Surprisingly, it stood out in the Digital Demand – D2 © searches and Rating Score (AAA), and boosted its tourism receipts and social media presence.
"All these positive performances in all variables opened the doors for Egypt to climb two places in the world ranking, staying very close to the Top 25, making it the best positioned African country," Bloom mentioned.

The report pointed out that Egypt showed an outstanding performance in several files related to tourism including the tourism digital demand and online search for tourism and related activities through analyzing 26 million search keywords in nine languages.
Earlier this month, Egypt scored the fourth highest Travel & Tourism performance improvement in the World Economic Forum’s latest Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report (TTCR).
