US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stressed that the US commitment to Ukraine will not be shaken, adding that the US will continue to stand united with Ukraine.

Commenting on the latest US aid package, Blinken said in a press release published by the US State Department on Saturday,“Ukrainians continue to face a brutality highlighted once again this week by an attack that struck a shopping mall filled with civilians."

"They continue to fight for their country, and the United States continues to stand by them and their just cause,” U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement about the assistance," he added.

It is worth mentioing that, the United States decided to two NASAMS surface-to-air missile systems, four additional counter-artillery radars and up to 150,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition, as part of its latest weapons packages for Ukraine, the Pentagon announced on Friday.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken believes that Russia has failed to achieve its strategic goals in Ukraine, which are to end the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, wipe it off the map, and integrate it into Russia.

In an exclusive interview with CNN, on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Germany, Blinken said on Sunday: “There is a tactical battle going on in eastern Ukraine that Ukrainian forces are confronting, but the most important thing is that strategically Russian President Vladimir Putin will not succeed in what he seeks to achieve.”
