Blinken: US-China relations "increasingly adversarial"

The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken described the US-China relations as "increasingly adversarial" during his interview with CNN on Sunday.

The Secretary of State referred to the crisis between both states about COVID-19 spread, in addition, he asserted the necessity of taking the required measures for competing against any upcoming pandemics.

He explained: "I think the issue for us is to make sure that we do everything possible to prevent another pandemic even as we're working through this one or at the very least to make sure that we can mitigate in much more effective ways any damage done if something happens in the future."

Since new US President Joe Biden arrived the office, the US foreign policy has been shifted towards various countries including China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
