Blinken to kick off European tour next Monday

US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, will kick off a European tour next Monday, which will include France and Belgium.

  Blinken will visit Paris in France, and the cities of Brussels and Leuven in Belgium during the period from April 1 to 5, where he will meet during his stay in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss global issues including supporting Ukraine, preventing the conflict in Gaza from expanding, and achieving stability in Haiti, according to what was reported on the official website of the US Department of State. 

He will also meet with the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Audrey Azoulay, to emphasize US support for UNESCO's core mission, including cultural preservation and education.

In Brussels, Blinken will participate in the NATO Foreign Ministers' Meeting, which coincides with the 75th anniversary of NATO's founding on April 4, and will hold meetings with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
