U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken affirmed during his current visit to the Middle East that the talks on the Gaza War are not easy.
In a post on his official "X" social media platform on Sunday, January 8, 2024, Blinken wrote, "I am in the Middle East this week to meet with our partners in the region on the situation in Gaza. These are not necessarily easy talks, but it is essential that we engage in this diplomacy now for the future of Gaza itself and the future of both Israelis and Palestinians."
Jordan is the second stop on Blinken's new tour of the region, which includes 8 countries and the West Bank and began with a visit to Turkey.
