US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, arrived today, Tuesday, in the Ukrainian capital (Kiev) on an unannounced visit, to reassure Ukraine that it has US support.
The visit comes less than a month after Congress approved a $60 billion aid package for Ukraine, most of which is directed toward renewing artillery and air defense systems, ABC News reported.
This is Blinken's fourth visit to Kiev, since the beginning of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, and he is expected to confirm during the visit the US administration's commitment to defending Ukraine and its security in the long term.
