Blinken Offers Condolences to Denmark over Copenhagen Mall Shooting Victims

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed his condolences to Denmark over the victims Copenhagen mall shooting. 

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and families of today’s cowardly attack in Copenhagen," Blinken tweeted.

Several people were injured in a shooting, that took place at a shopping center in the capital Copenhagen, according to Danish police.

Copenhagen police said that officers have been sent to the shopping center vicinity after reports of a shooting.

It is worth mentioning that, two people were killed and four others were injured, including three police officers, in a shooting in North Texas, the police said on Sunday.

According to the ABC website, the incident occurred late on Saturday when an elderly woman called the police and reported a shooting.

Local police officers arrived at the scene and began searching for the suspect.

Police said three officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries when the suspect opened fire at them.

Police added that a woman and a man were killed inside the house. The elderly woman, who called the police, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The gunman was found dead after he committed suicide, according to police.
