US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed today, Wednesday, the escalation in Gaza, over phone.
According to the "Al Arabiya" channel, the US State Department said that Blinken stressed the need to de-escalate tensions.
Blinken also expressed to Netanyahu his concerns over the missile attacks from Gaza, stressing that Washington does not want to escalate into a war with the Palestinians.
