The US State Department announced that the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken's plane developed unspecified problems in Paris before he headed to Brussels to participate in a NATO meeting.

A ministry spokesman said that the Foreign Minister's plane encountered a mechanical problem in Paris, and the American delegation headed to Brussels by car to attend the NATO meeting.

Yesterday, Tuesday, Blinken began his first visit to France in about two years, during which major international crises were discussed, including Ukraine and the Middle East.

Today, he will participate in a meeting with his NATO counterparts on the occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the founding of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
